How it works

We walk the property with you. No guessing from satellite images. We look at the vegetation density, access points, and any site conditions that affect the job. You get a written quote before we leave.
Once you approve the quote, we schedule the job and get our equipment to your property. Most residential jobs in Central Ohio can be scheduled within two to three weeks.
We clear the property to the agreed spec and walk it with you at the end. The mulch layer stays on site — no hauling, no mess. You've got usable land.
About us
We've been clearing properties across Licking, Muskingum, Knox, and Fairfield counties for years. We know what the land looks like here — the honeysuckle that's taken over half the woodlots in the county, the pioneer cottonwoods and box elders that move into a field the minute you stop mowing it, the clay-heavy soil that makes a dozer job a muddy disaster in March.
A lot of our work is for people who bought land with the intention of doing something with it — building a home, running livestock, putting in a pond — and realized after the first walk-through that clearing it themselves wasn't realistic. Some of it is for farmers who let a fence row go for ten years and now the multiflora rose has taken over thirty feet on either side. Some of it is for developers who need a site cleared on a schedule.

We run tracked forestry mulching equipment — not skid steers, not brush hogs. Tracked machines handle the terrain in Central Ohio better than wheeled equipment, especially on hillier properties in Muskingum and Knox counties where the ground gets soft after rain.
The mulching head is the business end of the machine. It's a high-speed rotating drum with carbide teeth that grinds trees up to about eight inches in diameter and dense brush down to ground level in a single pass. What's left is a layer of wood chip mulch that breaks down over time and actually improves the soil.
For larger commercial jobs we can bring additional equipment. For residential and agricultural work, one tracked mulcher handles most of what we see in this region.

Forestry mulching typically runs $1,500 to $5,000 per acre depending on how dense the vegetation is. Brush clearing is $150 to $400 per hour. Fence line clearing runs $3 to $8 per linear foot. We give you a written quote after the on-site visit — no surprises.

For most residential lot clearing and agricultural work, no permit is required. Larger commercial projects or work near wetlands or waterways may need permits from Ohio EPA or the Army Corps. We'll let you know at the estimate if anything applies to your property.
A 2 to 5 acre residential lot typically takes one to three days with our tracked mulcher. Larger properties and denser vegetation take longer. We give you an honest timeline at the estimate — not an optimistic number to win the job.
It's one of the most effective methods for large-scale invasive removal. Bush honeysuckle, multiflora rose, and autumn olive are common problems across Central Ohio woodlots and pastures. The mulcher removes them at scale quickly. For full eradication, follow-up treatment of regrowth is usually needed.
